Just imagine for a moment that the eternal, awesome, supernatural creator of this universe wants to lead your life! Awesome! What better person to have lead us than this awesome God! Leading us in every facet of our life – our marriages, our singleness, our parenting prowess, our business, our ministries and our educational pursuits.
How is God leading you where your community is concerned or where your relationships are concerned? How is He leading you when you have difficulties and struggles happening in your life and you need to have an advocate? What better advocate than having God lead.
The scripture that helps us know with assurance that God CAN be with us and WILL be with us is very simple. It’s found in Proverbs and it simply says in all your ways acknowledge God and He will direct your path. I know it’s a simple scripture and you may have learned it as a youngster in Sunday School, but how is it playing out in your life today?
The Bible also encourages us that the Lord is our light and our salvation – whom shall we fear? He is the strength of our life of whom shall we be afraid? There may come a time in your life when you are fearful, when you’re hesitant, when you’re uncertain – but be assured that He is your light and He is your salvation. Let Him be your director. The best directions will come from Him if you just let Him lead.
